Telling a story
This is a very simple way for you to start writing a story.
Follow the story of King Arthur watching the cartoons. Then try to write the story yourself.
Once you have an idea of how a story-telling works, start with your own story.
here |
- Start with the answering of some questions:
Who?
When?
Where?
What happened?
What happened next?
How did the main characer react?
How did the story end?
- Then remember how you have to structure this in your writing text:
OPENING:
Sets the scene and introduces the main character
BODY:
gives details and the main events leading up to te climax
CLOSING
gives the ending of the story and any sequences
- Now write a short story about a frightening or exciting experience that you have had or heard of or read about.
- Write 80-100 words. Not more!
FUN WITH FLAGS
In this unit we'll work on Nationalities and countries. One of my favourite shows on tv is
The big Bang Theory, let's see a clip on Sheldon Cooper's you tube channel FUN WITH FLAGS
How many countries can you name out of these Flags?
How many are English speaking countries?

Answer these questions after watching the video:
Where is Baylee from?
How old is she?
Where did she get that pink hand?
Has anybody helped her?
How did she lose her hand?
Has she had any other hand before?
Is she happier now?
You can write the answers in a comment right down here or you can write them down in your own notebooks and bring it to class next Friday, November 6th-
